Protocols

Standards-based, not proprietary

Pacslens uses published, vendor-neutral interoperability standards throughout. No proprietary SDK installation, no vendor-specific middleware.

DICOM TLS

All DICOM transport encrypted via TLS 1.2/1.3. Certificate-based mutual authentication between PACS and Pacslens. Complies with DICOM PS3.15 Security Profiles.

HL7 FHIR R4 ImagingStudy

Priority updates via ImagingStudy.note or extension field on FHIR-capable RIS systems. Conforms to HL7 FHIR R4 specification and US Core Implementation Guide.

DICOM Structured Report (SR)

Triage findings returned as DICOM SR TID-1500 compliant objects. Stored alongside original study in PACS. Radiologist can access finding context directly from viewer.

HL7 FHIR DiagnosticReport

Optional. Structured finding output for downstream EHR integration and alert notification to ordering clinician workflows.
